ADA / Accessibility Notice

North Carolina Glass Center is committed to providing an inclusive, welcoming, accessible environment. 

When you arrive in our RAD location: The sidewalks outside the facilities are rough and next to a busy street, so please be careful.  They are wide enough for multiple people to walk on and able to navigate by wheelchair. 

Entrance: There are ramps to enter our gallery, hot shop, and flame shop.  

Parking: There is free off-street parking available, but no designated handicap spots. Visitors may park in the Pine Gate Renewables parking lot at 130 Roberts Street on Saturday and Sunday only.

Restrooms: For students, we have three restrooms, one of which is ADA compliant.  We are happy to assist anyone with accessing it.

Public Transportation: There is a public bus stop within one block of NCGC.

Language: We currently only have English speaking instructors, but have successfully taught workshops to non-English and hearing impaired speaking students using different visual aids throughout the process.
