Learn to blow, shape, and create marbles and pendants using a torch and borosilicate glass. In this weekend class we cover a variety of techniques depending on your skill level and interest. Students will learn how to safely operate different types of glassworking equipment and use a variety of tools to manipulate molten glass into marbles or pendants. Some of the techniques covered are implosions, galaxies, reversals, honeycombs, reticellos, and lattachinos. This workshop is useful for all skill levels and concentrates on developing skills in basic flameworking while providing a solid technical groundwork for future development. No experience is required.
